About this trip: Snow is normally good this time of year at Obergurgl.  However, if for some reason conditions are less than ideal, a short distance away is glacier skiing at Sölden.

Our hotel, the 4-star Crystal Sportiv, is linked to the Crystal Hotel by a walkway over the road. All facilities are shared. The location is perfect for skiing - it is right next to the Festkogl lift which is central to the ski area. A ski run returns you back to the door. The hotel offers you a sauna and a cozy fireplace to relax by after a hard day on the slopes.  Plenty of pubs with personality are just up the street for the night owl.  A weekend at Obergurgl is not complete without an Apres Ski stop on Friday at the Nederhutte (season opening) where the music is lively, the beer is great, and the after happy hour “night skiing” to town can be most entertaining.

Here’s a hint to the new folks---this is always a sell-out trip-- if you don’t commit early, then while we’ll be there to ski and snow-board you’ll be home and rain-bored.

Go to the Obergurgl website for more information on this ski area.

Trip Price: 390€, Single Supplement 48€. The trip is 4 nights (Wednesday through Sunday) and the price includes transportation, room with bath or shower, 4 breakfasts, and 3 dinners.
