About this trip: We routinely sold out this trip for years on the 4-day Veteran’s Day weekend. If you are new to the sport or still a little shaky in your “boots” then this is the perfect trip for you. Stubaital, Austria,
a place for those seeking fabulous early season skiing. The Stubaital Glacier offers fantastic skiing with 16 lifts and over 10 trails. Snow conditions are extremely reliable
and it might even be possible to ski all the way to the base of the mountain (ski conditions permitting). This is a great trip for non-skiers as well as you can take the bus or train into Innsbruck for a day of shopping, museums and a stroll around the old town. Innsbruck is only 30 minutes from out hotel so skiers can visit after a day of skiing as well. Additional information on this ski area may be found on the Stubai website at http://www.stubaier-gletscher.com/en/winter/. Trip Price: 270€, Single Supplement 50€. The trip is 3 nights (Thursday - Saturday) and the price includes transportation, 3 breakfasts, and 2 dinners. Skiing: We will ski at Stubai Glacier. There are 37 lifts covering 8 km of black runs, 25 km of red runs, and 33 km of blue runs. However, this is glacier skiing and it is possible that not all of the area will be open. It is too early for cross-country skiing. Trip Opens: September 21 Final Payment Due: November 2 Trip Captain: Steve

This really is a perfect trip to get a taste of the sport or improve your technique before the high-season. Equipment Rental: Equipment rental shops are located on site if you don't own the gear. The TC is not responsible for equipment rental or sizing. The bus will not wait for those turning in equipment at the last minute; please plan accordingly. The bus waits for no one. Check-in with the TC prior to 16:45 or risk being assessed a 10€ penalty fee that will be used to support the trip party fund.
