About this trip: Those that went on this trip last year said there was only one way to improve it—make it longer—so we did.  We’ll stay in a beautiful hütte high above the Kitzbühel valley.  This ski-in/out location is an ideal trip for families.  Departure is early Friday morning because we must arrive while the lifts are running; luggage is delivered by snowmobile.

Our hütte serves hearty Tyrolean meals and has a charming bar and atmosphere, but this isn’t a trip for those seeking bar-hopping nightlife.  There is no access to town once the lifts close for the day.  After our early afternoon arrival, we’ll have the rest of Friday for skiing, all day Saturday and Sunday and then most of Monday before the trip home.

Stay in a beautiful Tyrolean mountain hütte high above the Kitzbühel valley, on the slope, where you ski-in, ski-out. We’ll have the hütte to ourselves, just us and the nice folks that run it, and boy can they cook! Depart PHV early Friday morning because we must arrive at Kitzbühel while the lifts are running. Your luggage will be delivered by snowmobile. Due to the hütte’s remote location there is no access to town once the lifts close for the day. Rooms are all triples and quads with bunk beds. School age youngsters will enjoy the slumber party atmosphere. Parents will have a stress free weekend while children entertain themselves. All this while skiing the world famous Kitzbühel ski slopes, including the Hahnenkamm downhill race course – the most spectacular on the World Cup circuit. This is the 5th year in a row for this trip, which has become a HISC-family favorite.
