About this trip: Spend two nights in Munich. On Saturday we get up, go to the Isar River where our Bavarian hosts peg to a large raft together, hand us a mug of bottomless beer, launch the boat and strike up the band—yes there is one on board. We tried this trip as a test last year and the results were overwhelming—we must do it again. This year we’re going to make it even better. We’ll stay Saturday night in Munich, then visit the Andechs Brewery (uh—Monastery—famous for: guess what?) on the way home. Trip Price: 285€, Single Supplement 95€. The trip is 2 nights (Friday - Sunday) and the price includes transportation, 2 breakfasts (but no dinners), food and all you can drink on the raft, and a souvenir beer mug. Trip Opens: February 29 Final Payment Due: May 2 Trip Captain: Steve Engle at 06227 / 747 416 Hotel: We will be staying at the 3-star Cosmopolitan Hotel in Munich. Departure: The bus will depart PHV from the Dental Clinic parking lot at 4 pm (16:00). The travel time is approximately 4.5 hours. When paid in full, members may reserve/select their bus seat. The bus waits for no one. Check-in with the TC prior to 16:45 or risk being assessed a 10€ penalty fee that will be used to support the trip party fund. Special Note: Please pack lightly, the bus has limited cargo carrying capacity. Thanks.
